Jabalpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to hold a mega road show in Jabalpur today. The Prime Minister’s Road will start from Katanga intersection and end at Adi Shankaracharya intersection. All preparations have been made to make the road show of about half a kilometer grand. PM’s road show will take place amid tight security arrangements. More than 2000 additional police forces have been deployed for the security of the Prime Minister. At the same time, 31 SPG personnel and more than 60 gazetted officers will be deployed for the security of the PM.
PM Modi will reach Doomna Airport at 5.50 pm today. PM’s road show will start at 6:20 pm. PM Modi will hold a mega road show of about 1 hour in Jabalpur. After finishing the road show, PM Narendra Modi will leave for Doomna Airport at 7 pm. PM Modi will leave for Delhi by special plane from Doomna Airport at 7:15 pm. BJP workers have completed preparations to make PM Modi’s road show grand and historic. Yellow rice and invitation cards have been distributed to people by going door-to-door in Jabalpur.
Later on Tuesday, the prime minister will address a public meeting in Balaghat. Balaghat and Jabalpur constituencies fall under the Mahakoshal region of Madhya Pradesh which has considerable tribal votes.
Chhindwara, the only seat the Congress could win in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, also falls under this region. The saffron party is trying to wrest the Chhindwara seat, the bastion of Congress veteran Kamal Nath, in the elections.
