Indore: In the economic capital of Madhya Pradesh, Indore, criminal audacity is on the rise. In the midst of this surge, a distressing incident unfolded in the constituency of Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, where the occurrence of a third murder in the last 28 hours has come to light. Despite these alarming incidents, there has been no official response from the leader.
Indore, constituting Assembly Area 1, has witnessed a heightened sense of audacity among criminals. The brazen criminals, armed openly, are roaming the city, instigating incidents of violence. Recently, another such incident occurred in the jurisdiction of the Ban Ganga police station. In this case, assailants attacked the owner of a Kachori-Samosa shop with knives.
According to the police, a dispute was ongoing between two parties, resulting in a scuffle that caused the counter of the Kachori-Samosa shop to collapse. This triggered a confrontation involving Sunil Choube, the shop owner, and the assailants. During the altercation, one of the criminals pulled out a knife and fatally attacked Sunil Choube, leading to his unfortunate demise. Currently, the police are actively working to identify and apprehend the culprits.
It is disconcerting that criminals in Indore exhibit such heightened audacity, openly carrying weapons and perpetrating violence, causing a surge. The incident raises questions about the effectiveness of the police system in the face of this rising criminal boldness. Before this incident, there were cases of a youth’s murder in the Aerodrome area’s Baba Shri Garden and the killing of a 60-year-old elderly person in Chandmari Brick Kiln in the Chandannagar police station area.
All three cases have emerged from the jurisdiction of Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, where criminals continue to perpetrate crimes unchecked. Despite these alarming events, there has been a notable absence of any response or reaction from the political leadership. The incidents underscore the pressing need for a robust and effective response from both law enforcement and political authorities to curb the rising trend of criminal audacity in the region.
