Today is the sixth day of Chhattisgarh Assembly budget session. Today in the quiz, Tribal Development Minister Ramvichar Netam and Finance Minister OP Chaudhary will answer questions related to their departments. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Deputy CM Vijay Sharma, School Education Minister Brijmohan Agarwal, Food Minister Dayaldas Baghel, Cooperation Minister Kedar Kashyap will put the papers on the table.
During the attention, MLA Rajesh Munat Nava will draw the attention of the Housing and Environment Minister on the issue of work being given to ineligible companies in Raipur Smart City and Raipur Smart City. Lakheshwar Baghel will draw the attention of the Cooperation Minister on the suicide of a Narayanpur tribal farmer due to not being able to deposit the loan taken from the bank. Anila Bhediya, Daleshwar Sahu, Raimuni Bhagat, Harshita Swami Baghel will present the petitions. There will be discussion on income expenditure for the financial year 2024-25.
The first budget session of the newly-elected Chhattisgarh legislative assembly began on Monday, and the state’s budget for FY 2024-25 will be tabled on February 9, Speaker Raman Singh said.
A debate on the motion of thanks to the governor’s address was proposed for February 7 and 8, and state Finance Minister O P Chaudhary presented the budget for FY 2024-25 on February 9, he said. The third supplementary budget for FY 2023-24 was presented and a discussion on it began on February 9.
Meanwhile, BJP’s preparations for Lok Sabha have intensified. BJP will organize a conference to woo youth, women, SC-ST voters. About 50 demonstrations will be held across the state. In which youth and women along with enlightened people will also participate. An effort will be made to reach out to half the population through the conference. After the Gaon Chalo campaign, BJP will reach out to the general public through the conference.
