On February 5, at 11 AM, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna is scheduled to present the budget, marking the financial year 2024-25. Discussions on the Governor’s address will take place on February 6 and 7. On February 8, a general discussion on the income and expenditure will occur, followed by considerations of budgetary demands on February 10 and 12. Voting on the budget proposals will take place after deliberations on income and expenditure demands. On February 12 at 3 PM, the Uttar Pradesh Appropriation Bill 2024 will be reintroduced in the assembly and put to vote.
The budget session encompasses crucial discussions on financial matters, governance policies, and the state’s overall development trajectory.
