Gwalior: A shocking incident has come to light in Nihona village, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, where a person faced brutal violence under suspicion of sorcery. The victim, 55-year-old Veerendra Yadav, filed a complaint with the SP alleging inhumane treatment on January 28. According to Veerendra, Shyamveer Gurjar and Janak Gurjar forcefully entered his home in the morning and assaulted him, accusing him of practicing sorcery.
After the assault in his house, the perpetrators bound Veerendra and took him to a field. Additionally, local residents Rakesh, Kalla, and Banti Naai joined in the relentless beating, followed by the heinous act of feeding him human excrement. The victim’s ordeal didn’t end there; he was taken to the fields where the assailants continued their brutal assault. Suffering greatly, Veerendra managed to report the incident to the police.
The police, upon receiving information from Surendra Singh of Murena, rushed to the scene, rescuing the victim from the clutches of his tormentors. A case has been registered against the accused—Shyamveer Gurjar, Janak Gurjar, Rakesh, and Kalla—at the internal police station, initiating an investigation.
