Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann welcomed the defamation case filed by Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal in Sangrur. Mann sees this as an opportunity to expose the anti-Punjab activities of the Badal family. Addressing the audience after dedicating 14 model libraries in Sangrur on Saturday, CM Mann stated that he would request daily hearings for this case. This move aims to make people aware of the wrongdoings of the Badals. Notably, Haryana constructed a canal to their farmhouse as a reward for alleged betrayal to Punjab by the Badals.

Mann predicted that the upcoming Lok Sabha elections would result in a sweeping victory of 13-0 for his party. He emphasized that voters are disillusioned with corrupt leaders from other parties. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that people, during the general elections, would ensure a clean sweep for his party on all 13 seats in the state.

Highlighting a significant achievement, Mann mentioned the state’s acquisition of the GVK Power-owned Goindwal Sahib Power Plant. This marks a historic moment as it is the first instance of the government purchasing a private power plant. He pointed out the shift in trend, as earlier, state governments would sell their assets to favored individuals at low prices. Mann explained that with the purchase of this power plant, utilizing coal from the Pachwara coal mines, the state now has the means to provide electricity to every sector.

In terms of electoral predictions, Mann forecasted a resounding victory of 13-0 in the upcoming general elections, with other parties unable to secure a single seat. He reiterated the people’s determination to bring about this outcome during the voting process. The Chief Minister’s optimism stems from the belief that the government’s initiatives, such as acquiring the power plant, have resonated positively with the public.

In conclusion, CM Bhagwant Mann used the occasion to discuss legal challenges, electoral predictions, and the state’s achievements, aiming to reinforce his commitment to transparent governance and the welfare of Punjab.
