Lucknow: On Monday, Samajwadi Party (SP) President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav addressed party officials, outlining their responsibilities. He highlighted positive developments in voter lists in several districts and stressed the need for leaders and workers to analyze voting patterns at the booth level. Yadav emphasized vigilance, as he believes the BJP could resort to various tactics in elections and exert pressure on the Election Commission.
Addressing district and metropolitan heads at the SP state headquarters, Akhilesh Yadav stated that in various districts, commendable work has been done on the voter list. He urged party leaders and workers to collaborate at the booth level to analyze where votes were garnered and where they were lost. This, he emphasized, is crucial because BJP might employ various strategies in elections, potentially pressuring the Election Commission.
Akhilesh Yadav also expressed readiness for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, stating that the public is prepared to defeat BJP due to its anti-democratic policies. In a statement issued by the SP headquarters, Yadav accused the BJP of undermining democracy and the constitution, adopting strategies to divert public attention from critical issues.
Regarding the upcoming elections, Yadav highlighted key issues such as saving democracy, addressing rising inflation, unemployment, neglect of farmers, increasing crimes against women, injustice, and corruption. He emphasized that these would be the prominent issues in the upcoming elections.
Yadav urged party members to gear up for the elections, with only 100 days remaining. He expressed confidence in the SP organization, stating that it plays a crucial role in Uttar Pradesh. He emphasized that the party’s programs, policies, and decisions would be communicated effectively to the public.
Asserting that the SP is strengthening its organization at the sector and booth levels, Yadav declared that all district heads would assign responsibilities to workers at the booth level. This strategic move aims to enhance the party’s grassroots presence and ensure effective communication of its programs and policies to the masses.
