Bhopal: In the Congress office in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh’s capital, the State Election Committee convened today to strategize for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The meeting, attended by committee members including PC Chief Jitu Patwari, former CM Kamal Nath, Digvijay Singh, and Govind Singh, focused on formulating a strategy for the imminent parliamentary elections. This marks Kamal Nath’s first participation in a meeting of the Madhya Pradesh Congress after stepping down from the PC Chief position.

Post the meeting, Kamal Nath issued a significant statement, revealing that comprehensive planning has been undertaken for the Lok Sabha elections. He emphasized that everyone has shared their perspectives on the parliamentary polls during the meeting. Kamal Nath acknowledged the high spirits among Congress workers, dispelling any sense of disappointment following the defeat in the assembly elections. 

The meeting also delved into discussions regarding Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). Kamal Nath stated that any decision regarding EVMs will be made in Delhi. This underlines the party’s concern and interest in the electoral process’s integrity and the need for a fair and transparent voting system.

The Congress leaders present, including Kamal Nath, conveyed a unified message of enthusiasm and determination among party workers. Despite the setback in the assembly elections, they assured that Congress workers remain motivated and focused.
