As per a spokesperson from the BSF, a team from their force was patrolling the village of Daoke near the Pakistan border on Friday night. Saturday when they heard a noise coming from the fencing area. Immediately, they cordoned off the area. Initiated an extensive search operation.
During their search, they found three packets wrapped in tape in a field. Upon examination, it was revealed that these packets contained 3.2 kilograms of heroin. The BSF promptly handed over the seized narcotics to the police, who have now launched an investigation into this matter.
The spokesperson also mentioned that Daoke, being situated next to Pakistan, has been under surveillance by BSF officials.
