Lucknow: In a scathing critique, Samajwadi Party (SP) President and former Chief Minister, Akhilesh Yadav, has taken aim at the BJP government, particularly questioning their economic policies. Yadav raised pertinent questions, asking how many expressways the people of Uttar Pradesh, the state with the most Prime Ministers and MPs, have been granted by those making lofty claims about development.

Akhilesh Yadav, through his tweet, sought transparency regarding the number of expressways sanctioned for the state, emphasizing the need for accountability from those boasting about aerial development promises. He urged those who boast about creating a trillion-dollar economy to disclose the required growth rate and the current reality. Yadav challenged the claims of the ruling party, stating that the present BJP government is ensnared in a dilemma of double pressure rather than operating as a so-called ‘double engine’ government.

He pointed out that while the BJP government imposes laws against public sentiment, it eventually succumbs to public pressure when people unite against their decisions. Yadav labeled the BJP government as a ‘triple-headed destruction’ regime, asserting that it includes a third faction – the irrational supporters who criticize BJP decisions but remain silent when the party backtracks due to fear of defeat.

Yadav cleverly coined the term ‘triple-headed destruction’ to highlight the contradiction within the BJP’s governance, where even their own supporters often criticize their decisions when the party retreats due to political pressures. This, according to Yadav, exposes the government’s lack of a coherent and principled stance.

The SP leader underscored the need for an honest evaluation of the BJP government, suggesting that it should be viewed as a ‘triple-headed destruction’ regime due to the inherent contradictions and inconsistencies in their decision-making process. He concluded by questioning the BJP’s ability to steer the country’s economy and address pressing issues effectively. Akhilesh Yadav’s critical assessment underscores the ongoing political discourse surrounding economic policies and governance in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
