Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav conducted a series of departmental reviews starting from the morning. Following a review of the Health Machinery Department, CM Yadav convened a meeting at the ministry for an assessment of the Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department. Officials from the Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department were present during this session.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasized the need to attract companies to invest in industrial development tailored to the local facilities in regions like Bundelkhand and Baghelkhand. He suggested efforts be made to lure industries according to the local resources available in these areas. Additionally, he highlighted the importance of launching campaigns at the local level to encourage the establishment of small-scale units for products like dairy, soybeans, herbal, and minor forest produce.
Chief Minister Yadav advocated not only for attracting industries but also for advancing them. He urged a coordinated effort among various departments to make industries self-reliant and profitable. Dr. Yadav stressed the importance of planning for the future, proposing the establishment of new railway tracks and the creation of industrial infrastructure in new areas through water routes.
The CM expressed the need to encourage economically viable local entrepreneurs in the district to establish new industries. He suggested establishing employment-based industries alongside machine-based industries. The CM emphasized the formulation of policies by departments based on the future possibilities and industrial needs of the state.
