Raibareli: Due to dense fog, accidents are occurring in Uttar Pradesh. Late at night in Raebareli, a tractor-trailer overturned due to thick fog, resulting in a labourer’s tragic death. Meanwhile, four labourers sustained severe injuries.
The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Harchandpur police station, near the village of Manjigawan Karnan Malikpur Banna. Due to intense fog, a tractor with a trailer loaded with labourers lost control and overturned on the road. This led to the death of one labourer, identified as Manoj Kumar, aged 45. Upon receiving information, Harchandpur police, with the help of villagers, sent all the injured to the CHC (Community Health Center) for treatment. Those with serious conditions were referred to the district hospital in Raebareli.
The tragic event unfolded when labourers were returning after loading a sealer machine into a house. Due to lack of control, the tractor and sealer machine overturned, causing serious injuries to several labourers sitting on the tractor. Gunawar, residing in Kamangalpur, Manoj Kumar, met his untimely demise at the scene. The injured, including Santlal, Karn, Sohan, and Arvind, were severely wounded.
In response, Harchandpur police initiated an investigation into the incident. The local community joined hands to assist the injured labourers, ensuring they received medical attention. This unfortunate occurrence serves as a stark reminder of the dangers posed by extreme weather conditions, emphasising the need for caution and preventive measures during adverse visibility situations. The affected families mourn the loss of Manoj Kumar and anxiously await the recovery of the injured labourers. The authorities are urged to address road safety concerns, especially during challenging weather conditions, to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.
