Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh BJP President, Vishnudatt Sharma, has launched a scathing attack on the Congress, accusing Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu and associates of receiving 300 crore rupees. In a press conference held in the capital city of Bhopal, Sharma targeted not only Sahu but also Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and former CM Digvijay Singh, using the pretext of events in Jharkhand to intensify his criticism.

Sharma asserted that 210 crore rupees have been seized so far, but determining the total amount remains challenging. He alleged Congress’s involvement in corruption, claiming the party’s connection with corrupt individuals. While the vote counting has concluded, the scrutiny of cash is ongoing.

Accusing the previous government in Madhya Pradesh of corruption, Sharma painted a picture of the state becoming a hub of unethical practices. He specifically mentioned Rahul Gandhi engaging in corruption in the “shop of love” and labeled Congress Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Sahu as Rahul Gandhi’s “ATM.”

Sharma expressed confidence in Prime Minister Modi’s commitment to eradicating corruption and criticized Congress’s fundamental character. He pointed out Congress’s consecutive losses in Lok Sabha elections, followed by sending candidates to the Rajya Sabha.

He questioned the silence of Congress on the issue and referred to a Congress minister’s statement, labeling Mr. Bantadhar as the biggest corrupt and liquor mafia. Sharma alleged that all the money is being stored in the Gandhi family’s treasure trove, calling for accountability of Digvijay Singh and others under the constitution.

Regarding the internal matters of the BJP, Sharma stated that the central leadership would make the right decision, and everyone would accept the verdict. Supervisors are expected to arrive in Bhopal on Monday morning, and a meeting is scheduled for 4 PM. Legislators have been informed about the meeting.
