Badaun: A tragic event took place on the Mathura Bareilly highway, in the Ujhani area of Badaun district on Monday night. It involved a collision between a truck and a motorcycle carrying a father and son. Unfortunately the father lost his life in the accident while his son sustained injuries. At present the injured son is receiving treatment at the district hospital.
According to reports Shiv Singh, who resides in Ulhetapur village within the Ujhani Kotwali jurisdiction was returning home from Badaun with his son Tejpal on Monday night. While they were on their way a speeding truck crashed into their bike near Galla Mandi on the Mathura Bareilly highway in the Ujhani area. Following this collision involving the father son duo the truck driver quickly fled from the scene with their vehicle. Efforts are underway to locate and apprehend this driver who absconded.
As a result of this crash both Shiv Singh and Tejpal suffered injuries. Upon receiving information about this incident authorities from Ujhani police arranged for an ambulance to transport them to the district hospital for assistance. Tragically upon arrival at the hospital doctors pronounced Shiv Singh deceased. Meanwhile Tejpal continues to receive treatment at the district hospital for his injuries.
This incident has raised concerns regarding road safety. Emphasises our need for strict enforcement of traffic regulations. The police are doing their best to find the truck and apprehend the driver accountable for their actions. The community grieves over the loss of Shiv Singh and prays for Tejpal’s speedy recovery. The local authorities are also urged to take preventive measures to avoid such tragic accidents in the future.
