Balod: The Pradesh Congress Committee has expelled three Congress leaders involved in anti-party activities. Mina Satendra Sahu of Balod, who decided to contest the elections as an independent candidate after not receiving a Congress ticket, was dismissed by the party a few days ago. Now, action has been taken against those supporting her.

Supporters, including her husband, former Deputy Chairman of the District Congress Balod Satendra Sahu, Piman Sahu, a member of the District Congress Executive, and Leelata Sahu, a member of the District Panchayat from Ward 13, have been expelled from primary membership for six years. This decision comes after Mina Sahu’s expulsion a few days ago.

In support of Mina Sahu, discussions were held with Laluram Dot Com, and he revealed that Congress candidate Sangeeta Sinha’s husband, Bhaiya Ram Sinha, intimidates and threatens them. Allegations were made that he is involved in illegal liquor and betting activities. Therefore, both husband and wife have left Congress and are now supporting independent candidate Mina Satendra Sahu, actively participating in her campaign.

It’s noteworthy that the party has removed them from their positions, and this development highlights the internal conflicts and shifts in political allegiances that often characterize election seasons. The decision to expel not just the candidate but also her supporters underscores the party’s efforts to maintain discipline and unity, albeit at the cost of internal dissent.

As the political landscape evolves in the lead-up to the elections, such instances shed light on the intricate dynamics and challenges faced by political parties in managing internal conflicts and maintaining party loyalty.
