Jaipur: The Congress party has unveiled its list of 21 candidates, for the Rajasthan Assembly Election in 2023 with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot among those seeking re election. This announcement means that the Congress has nominated candidates for all 200 constituencies in the state. Today, November 6th marks the deadline for filing nominations giving candidates their chance to enter the contest.

Today a number of leaders including Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and ministers Shanti Dhariwal, Subhash Garg, Saleh Mohammed, Jahida Khan, Dr. Raghusharma, Rajkumar Rinwa and Ajit Singh Mehta are expected to submit their nomination papers. Chief Minister Gehlot himself will be running as the Congress candidate from the Sardarpura constituency in Jodhpur. Following the nomination process a public rally will be held at Umed Stadium where Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge is scheduled to address the gathering.

It’s important to note that candidates can file their nomination papers until 3;00 PM today. On November 7th all nomination papers will undergo scrutiny. On November 9th candidates will be assigned their election symbols. Voting for all 200 constituencies, in the state is set to take place on November 25th with vote counting scheduled for December 3rd.

With important leaders actively involved and the candidate nomination process concluded the political scenario, in Rajasthan is becoming increasingly intense as the state moves towards the assembly elections.

These elections will determine the future leadership and direction of the state, making it a significant event in the realm of Indian politics.
