Islamabad: A massive terror attack involving suicide bombers was reported at the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) base in Nothern Pakistan’s Mianwali on Friday night. Several videos of the attack were shared on social media, showing explosions and gunfire.

According to Reuters, the Pakistan military said that three attackers were killed in response to the attack. However, they have not yet revealed the identity of the attackers or the group responsible for the attack.

The attack comes at a time when Pakistan is already facing a number of security challenges, including the ongoing insurgency in Balochistan and the threat of terrorism from groups like the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

The attack reportedly began at around 10:30 pm on Friday night, when a group of suicide bombers attempted to storm the PAF base. The attackers were armed with explosives and automatic weapons.

According to eyewitnesses, there were at least two explosions inside the base, followed by gunfire. The Pakistani military responded quickly and was able to contain the attack within a few hours.

Several videos of the attack were shared on social media, showing explosions and gunfire. One video shows a large fireball erupting from inside the base, followed by a series of smaller explosions. Another video shows a group of soldiers firing at the attackers.

The Pakistani military has condemned the attack and vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice. The military has also said that it is investigating the attack and will release more information as it becomes available.
