Chhindwara: During a trip to Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, Home Minister Narottam Mishra criticized the Congress party. Mishra, who was in Chhindwara to lend his support to the BJP candidate Banti Sahu, accused the Congress of engaging in politics and promoting policies of appeasement. He cautioned that if the Congress were to come into power, it might lead to the establishment of Rohingya settlements in the region.
While visiting, Mishra addressed a rally and urged the residents of Chhindwara to cast their votes for the BJP candidate. He emphasized that these elections are not about forming a government but about creating history. Mishra argued that due to its politics, Congress prioritizes policies that divide people and indulge in strategies that contribute to economic disparities. He hinted at how prices of commodities like potatoes and onions may fluctuate at present but could potentially become more affordable in the future, suggesting a connection between fluctuations and Congress policies that potentially contribute to inflation.
Furthermore, he criticized party’s leaders by highlighting instances where Rahul Gandhi allegedly made remarks about Hindus and Hinduism during his visits to Rajasthan. Mishra also accused Digvijay Singh of branding Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) a Hindu organization, as a terrorist group.
Mishra emphasized the importance of backing the BJP, highlighted the advancements achieved in sectors, such as the remarkable achievement of planting our national flag on the moon under the governance of Modi.
While campaigning in Chhindwara, Mishra implied that a Congress government might lead to potential Rohingya settlements in the area, aligning with the broader BJP narrative that the Congress party’s policies are appeasement-oriented. His remarks aimed to sway public sentiment in favor of the BJP candidate and to highlight what he believes are the pitfalls of Congress’ governance.
