Raipur: Congress has scheduled a press conference in Chhattisgarh today at 12:30 PM, wherein senior party leader Shri Bhakta Chandra Das Ji will address the media. “Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Shri Bhakta Chandradas ji will address an important press conference at Rajiv Bhawan, Raipur”, wrote INC Chhattisgarh on X.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Arjun Munda, who is on a Chhattisgarh tour for the election campaign has taken a dig at the deletion of names of 18 MLAs from the Congress list, claiming turmoil in Chhattisgarh Congress. The BJP leader and former chief minister of Jharkhand said in a media discussion that BJP should be re-elected.
While the battle between Congress and BJP will continue till assembly polls are conducted, CM Baghel seems confident of his victory. “They kept attacking Chhattisgarhia culture. We continued to destroy their plans. Trust intact-

Earlier on Wednesday, the Congress on Wednesday released its second list of 53 candidates for the
upcoming Chhattisgarh Assembly elections. The list was announced after a Central Election Committee meeting.
The second list of candidates includes a mix of experienced and new faces.
The party has fielded several sitting MLAs, including Chief Minister Bhupesh
Baghel. The party has also fielded a number of new candidates, including women
and youth leaders.
