Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel participated in the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony organized by the Urban Administration Department for the installation of a new statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar at Ambedkar Chowk in Raipur. The event was attended by MLA Kuldeep Juneja, Mayor Aijaz Dhebar, Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission Gyanesh Sharma, and various public representatives.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Baghel emphasized the need for a new statue of Baba Saheb as the existing one had weathered with time. Baghel extended his congratulations and best wishes to all present on the occasion.

He highlighted the enduring relevance of Dr. Ambedkar’s teachings and the importance of following the path he illuminated. Baghel emphasized that Dr. Ambedkar’s Constitution is the bedrock of India’s strength, providing fundamental rights to all citizens. Any attempt to undermine the Constitution, he noted, would weaken the nation and its people. Baghel stressed that safeguarding the Constitution is a collective responsibility because it empowers every citizen.

The Chief Minister underscored that adhering to the principles of the Constitution is key to progressing as a society and a nation. He commended the Constitution as a supreme document that guides the nation’s development and ensures the welfare of its people.

In his address, Baghel highlighted the significance of the occasion and the collective commitment needed to uphold the values enshrined in the Constitution, thereby empowering all citizens and advancing the nation’s well-being.
