Banda: In a disturbing incident, the police in Uttar Pradesh made a discovery in the Banda district last Friday. They came across a crime scene where they found the body of a woman without her head. The woman was estimated to be around 35 to 40 years old. Had four missing fingers. Superintendent of Police Ankur Agarwal stated that the victim’s body was partially clothed, with her decapitated head found some distance away.
The deceased woman was identified as Maya Devi, who was married to Ramkumar Ahirwar from Chhatarpur district in Madhya Pradesh; aside from the injuries, it was observed that the perpetrators had cut off her hair and crushed her teeth in an attempt to hide her identity.
Early investigations pointed towards the involvement of family members as suspects. Subsequently, during interrogation Maya Devi’s husband Ramkumar, along with his sons Suraj Prakash and Brijesh as his nephew Udaibhan admitted their participation in the murder, as confirmed by the Superintendent of Police.
Based on Ramkumar’s statement, it was revealed that Maya Devi was his wife, and he suspected her of having an affair with one of his sons.
