Sukma: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has launched the Mukhyamantri Swaphar Yojana in 681 primary schools located in Sukma district, with the official inauguration taking place in Chhindgarh, Sukma. In a heartwarming gesture, the Chief Minister personally distributed tiffins to school children, marking the commencement of this significant initiative.

The Mukhyamantri Swaphar Yojana is a welfare scheme designed to benefit students in classes 1 to 5 across Sukma district. Under this program, these young learners will receive nutritious snacks on five school days each week. The menu has been thoughtfully curated to ensure variety and nutrition, with each day featuring a different snack. Monday’s will offer poha, Tuesdays will bring oatmeal, Wednesdays will feature chana fry, Thursdays will present moong dal, and Fridays will offer veg pulao. This diverse menu aims to not only provide essential nourishment but also add an element of excitement to the students’ daily meals.

The implementation of this scheme will have a positive impact on approximately 17,000 children in the Sukma district, ensuring they receive regular and nutritious snacks during their school days. Such initiatives play a vital role in promoting the overall health and well-being of young learners while encouraging regular school attendance.

Furthermore, the Mukhyamantri Swaphar Yojana also recognizes the invaluable contribution of school cooks. To motivate and appreciate their efforts, the scheme includes an additional incentive of Rs 800 for these dedicated individuals, acknowledging their role in the successful implementation of the program.
