The Indian cricket authority, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), has recently announced a three-year partnership with SBI Life, according to a media advisory. Starting with the ODI series against Australia set to begin on September 22 in Mohali, this collaboration will cover both international and domestic cricket seasons from 2023 to 2026.

Expressing his excitement about this collaboration BCCI President Roger Binny emphasized the goal of establishing a long-lasting relationship with SBI Life. The BCCI’s vision for cricket aligns perfectly with SBI Life’s commitment to excellence making this partnership an important step forward.

Highlighting the significance of this collaboration in light of the ICC Mens Cricket World Cup in 2023, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah stressed the shared dedication of SBI Life and the BCCI towards promoting and supporting cricket at all levels. He emphasized how SBI Life’s commitment to excellence resonates with the BCCI’s vision for cricket.

Ravindra Sharma, Chief of Brand at SBI Life, discussed the importance of this partnership. He acknowledged that cricket plays a role in India and recognized the role played by the BCCI in nurturing and developing the sport. For SBI Life, becoming a partner of the BCCI presents an opportunity to connect with consumers and raise awareness about insurance’s significance.

Sharma pointed out that increasing awareness within the sports community could play a role in promoting the idea that insurance is an essential facilitator for individuals to chase their aspirations. This aligns with the goal of ensuring “Insurance, for all” by 2047.
