New Delhi: A man named Rajesh Tomer, aged 40, was discovered dead in his residence located in south Delhi. It appears that he took his life with a gunshot wound. This incident came to light on Tuesday, September 19th. Tomer was originally from Bhind in Madhya Pradesh. Had been living in Sangam Vihar, Delhi.
The reason behind this suicide is still unclear at this point.
The police were notified about the incident during the night between Monday and Tuesday through a distress call. They quickly responded by sending a team to the scene, where they found Tomer’s body lying in a pool of blood with a gunshot wound to his head. A forensic team was called to examine the area, and during their investigation, they discovered a cartridge and a homemade pistol with three cartridges.
According to investigators, Rajesh Tomer had been living together with his partner and her three children for six years. The police have initiated an inquiry under Section 174 of the CrPC (Code of Criminal Procedure). Have registered a case under sections of the Arms Act at the Tigri Police Station.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding Tomer’s suicide as they strive to understand what events led up to this incident.
