Shah Rukh Khan’s movie ‘Jawan’ has accomplished a feat by surpassing Sunny Deol’s blockbuster ‘Gadar 2’ within eight days of its release. ‘Jawan’ has firmly established itself as one of the grossing films marking a significant milestone in its successful box office journey. The movie’s performance on Friday, September 15, was particularly impressive according to trade estimates, as it crossed the Rs 400 crore mark in India and is expected to exceed Rs 700 crore globally.

Right from the start, ‘Jawan’ made an impact by earning Rs 74.50 crore on its opening day across all languages in India. It created history in Hindi cinema with a record-breaking opening day collection of Rs 129.06 crore. As per trade reports on Day 9 (September 15), ‘Jawan’ continued its run by adding Rs 21 crore to its Indian earnings. Consequently, the film’s overall box office revenue in India has now reached Rs 410.88 crore.

Furthermore, on September 15, ‘Jawan’ maintained an occupancy rate of around 20.50%, demonstrating its enduring popularity among audiences.

Globally the movie has already surpassed the Rs 660 crore mark collecting a Rs 696 crore on its day. With its progress, ‘Jawan’ is, on track to reach the Rs 700 crore milestone, soon establishing itself as a blockbuster in cinema.
