Kolkata: Mamata Banerjee took the oath as the Bengal CM today. Soon after taking over her duties as the 3rd time CM she passed certain lockdown restrictions to control the ongoing pandemic situations. Under the guidelines, trains and bus services are suspended, vaccination priority lists have been created and other similar restrictions have been imposed. The guidelines is given as follows

 ✓ Wearing mask is made compulsory

 ✓ Hawkers and journalists will be given priority to get vaccinated

 ✓ Local trains suspended, state government buses to run with 50% capacity

 ✓ No flight returnee to leave airport premises without RT-PCR report

 ✓ 50% staff of private and Govt offices to work from home

 ✓ Banks to operate from 10 am to 2 pm

 ✓ All interstate/long distance transport passengers to have negative RT-PCR test reports. Random checks will be conducted

 ✓ Tea gardens to operate with only 50% of total strength

 ✓ Essential commodities’ home delivery is encouraged

 ✓ Sanitation must for commercial establishments and al workplaces

 ✓ Malls, cinema halls, gyms, swimming pools, sports complexes, restaurants, bars, to remain closed until further notice

 ✓ Jewelry shops to remain open from 12 to 3

 ✓ Markets to remain open from 7 am to 10 am and from 5 pm to 7 pm

 ✓ Local, social, political and any other type of social gathering is prohibited

 

These are the regulations that will come into effect from tomorrow to control the worsening situation of the state and the country as well. The CM Mamata Banerjee has requested all to follow the orders and maintain the covid protocols strictly.
