New Delhi: Amidst the dreadful situations of Chhattisgarh hospitals, a statement of the Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan surfaced.
His official statement revealed details about the stock of ventilators the government owns. He said,” the Central government has a lot of ventilators but no state government is asking us for a ventilator right now. The ventilators we have given to many state governments are yet to be used. They don’t have a place to install ventilators.”
Meanwhile, Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan today visited the trauma center of AIIMS to inspect the health facilities. Interacting with the doctor’s AIIMS, he said, “We are ready to improve the system and are constantly trying”. He further said,” we have to work with patience and courage.” He authorized the doctors to act as per the situation demands during these tough times.
According to him, with a year’s experience of battling COVID, the government is now prepared. He urged the people to maintain peace and patience, and cooperate with the government to avoid the hustle.
