Riteish Deshmukh at His Wittiest Best; Delivers Speech for NOT Being Nominated at Filmfare

Bollywood: Riteish Deshmukh is one of those few actors who can take criticism and humor without being offended. After a year-long gap, now that the Bollywood industry is finally coming back on track, the award shows are also taking place, which forms a major part of Bollywood’s extended entertainment. ‘Filmfare’ is considered one of the most popular award shows that not only gives awards to the deserving performances but also comes along with belly tickling entertainment and fun.

Recently, the Filmfare awards got hosted in Mumbai where lots of stars made their appearances. While some got the opportunity of holding the black lady for their performances, some were disappointed. And Riteish found himself in the “non-nominee” category. He took to his Instagram handle to give his “acceptance speech” for NOT getting nominated in any category of the awards show.

He posted a video on the social media and wrote, “Acceptance speech on the Filmfare Awards” in the caption. After delivering the speech, Riteish concluded by saying, “Last but not least, I wanna thank me! I wanna thank me for believing in me”. The entire episode of the awards show is yet to be broadcasted on television. Several celebrities and Riteish’s Instagram followers were seen liking and commenting on the post for his funny dig at the awards show.
