Hyderabad: The Education Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Audimulapu Suresh declared that amid the second wave of Covid-19, the written and practical examinations will be conducted as per the schedule. With tight Covid measures, all the exams will be conducted.

The Minister said, “We could not conduct several exams in the last academic year. However, as a part of this academic year, we will try our best to conduct the same this year. The health of our students and teachers is of prime importance. Hassle-free full-fledged classes are being run in our state, so far, post lockdown”.

In India, Andhra Pradesh is the only state which has been conducting the highest number of Covid cases. Over the last few days, AP is witnessing a surge in the Covid cases.

In Rajahmundry, more than 100 students in a private college are affected by the deadly virus. The Vice-chancellors and registrars of the universities are ordered by the Minister that to contain the spread of the deadly virus, they should focus on implementing SOPs.

The Minister further added, “The number of Corona tests for students will be increased. Examinations will be conducted as per schedule with Corona precautions. Practical Examinations will be held on Sundays in light of stringent Corona restrictions”.
