Dehradun: Tirath Singh Rawat, new CM of Uttarakhand has compared Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India to Lord Ram. On Sunday, at the Rishikul Government PG Ayurvedic College auditorium, an event named ‘Netra Kumbh’ was organized by a social outfit.

The CM while speaking at the event said, “Today leaders of different countries line up to get their pictures clicked with the Prime Minister. This is in stark contrast to earlier times when no world leader used to bother about our head of state. The situation has changed now because of Narendra Modi. This is a New India that he has created”.

The CM is a follower of Narendra Modi. He further added, “Just like during earlier times, Lord Ram had done good work for society and so people started considering him as a god, similarly, in future, the same thing will happen with our beloved Prime Minister too”.

Due to the global pandemic, the Central Government has issued some guidelines. Rawat said that the guidelines must be followed well and for visiting the mega festival, no RT-PCR report or any kind of registration of pilgrims would be required.

The CM said, “A negative event environment was being created around the Kumbh Mela. We have now cleared the air so that people feel confident coming to the mela. Officials have been instructed to not necessarily stop anyone from entering Kumbh premises”.
