New Delhi: Indian IAF Marshal RKS Bhadauria visited Bangladesh on Monday upon invitation from his Bangladeshi counterpart Masihuzzaman Serniabat. He invited the IAF marshal to discuss matters of mutual cooperation that benefit both countries. He wants to strengthen the “close and fraternal ties” between both the countries’ armed forces and that is why he sent such an invitation.

The Indian high commission tweeted about the information and wrote on their official handle, “On 24 Feb 2021, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria, CAS, IAF called on Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat Chief of Air Staff (COAS), Bangladesh Air Force (BAF), and other senior officers to discuss matters of mutual cooperation”.

After his visit, the IAF Marshal Bhadauria paid tribute to the soldiers of the 1971 liberation war who became martyrs of the war. The IAF chief along with another Indian delegation later visited the BAF base in Chattogram and interacted with the BAF officers. It is expected that after this visit, the relationship between Bangladesh and India will not only strengthen but better prospects of the armed forces will come out.
