Chhattisgarh: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, on the second day of his Kanker tour conducted by Swami Aatmanand English Medium School Plan, visited Narahardev Government English Medium School. The government of Chhattisgarh has implemented the scheme and has started English medium schools with smart classrooms to show a new path to the new generation of students, to deterge their talent, and to prepare them for all types of competition at the national level.

CM Baghel, during his inspection at the English medium schools, visited different classrooms and had talks with students as well as teachers about learning and teaching respectively. The students spoke to the CM in English and recited English poems for him. Seeing the kids learning with a smart-board facility, he nostalgically said – “We used to learn our lessons in black-boards when we were students. But now, our new generation kids are getting facilities of digital classrooms”.

The CM asserted that the English medium schools have been founded to encourage the teaching and learning process in the state. At its first phase, 52 English medium schools have already started across the districts. In the upcoming days, the state government has plans for 100 more English medium schools.

It is noteworthy that the chief minister, at the request of the students, played badminton with them, and also took selfies with the children.
