New Delhi: With 27,071 new infections, India’s total number of cases has risen to 98,84,100, while 336 new deaths have taken the death toll to 1,43,355.

The total number of active cases in the nation stands at 3,52,586. The total number of recovery cases since the beginning of this endemic has reached 93,88,159, with 30,695 recoveries in the last 24 hours.

Telangana has reported 384 fresh COVID-19 cases, 3 deaths, and 631 recoveries in the last 24 hours, while the total number of cases stands at 2,78,108. 

In Andaman and Nicobar Islands, 13 new cases push the tally to 4,818; of which 6 have travel history while 7 were detected during contact tracing. 8 more people in the UT has recovered, taking the total number of recoveries to 4,673. There are 84 active cases, while 61 people have died of the infection in the archipelago. 

Jharkhand has reported 144 new infections, which has taken the state’s death toll to 1,11,510. The death toll in the state has climbed to 999 with 4 new deaths. In Jharkhand, Ranchi district has registered the maximum number of cases (76) on Sunday, followed by East Singhbhum (19), Dhanbad (7), Hazaribagh (7).
