The agitating farmers who are on a protest at the Delhi borders against the new farm laws implemented by the central government have called for a nationwide strike on December 8.

The strike is being supported by 11 opponent parties including Congress and CPIM. Also, the transport association is backing the strike. Now, the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce has given a nod to the strike and announced that the businessactivities will be shut for that day.

Today, the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries arranged a virtual meeting with all their camber-heads. Officers from each of the districts participated in the meeting. Through the discussions, the officers reached a decision of supporting the strike. All the business activities will be shut till 2 PM tomorrow. 

The Director of Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce, Jitendra Barlota declared that other than the emergency services, all types of business activities will be shut. Shops around the state will be closed till 2 PM.
