Delhi: According to the Health Bulletin on 8 am morning, 44,489 new COVID19 infections recorded in the last 24 hours, Taking India’s total cases to 92,66,706. With 524 new deaths, the toll amounted to 1,35,223. Total active cases at 4,52,344. Total discharged cases at 86,79,138 with 36,367 new discharges in the last 24 hours.

Apart from that, the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University reported that the global COVID-19 cases exceeded 60 million. The current global case count is 60,037,735, whereas the total death count till now is 1,413,325, according to the CSSE data.

The most cases and deaths among all of the worldwide regions are reported by the US, where the number of coronavirus cases and death cases are 12,642,245 and 260,591 respectively.

India ranks second in the world, with 9,222,216 cases. Brazil follows India in the number of infected people, but on the other hand, Brazil is currently the second-largest death toll in the world, as reported by the Xinhua News Agency. Brazil has 6,118,708 active cases with a death rate of 170,115.

Of these 44,489 cases, 60.72% is contributed by six States/UT- Kerala, Maharashtra, Delhi, West Bengal, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Maharashtra, Delhi, UP & West Bengal are the common states among the top 6 states contributing maximum to new cases as well as daily deaths.

  1. Maharashtra : 17,95,959 cases.
  2. Karnataka : 8,78,055 cases.
  3. Andhra Pradesh : 8,64,674 cases.
  4. Tamil Nadu : 7,74,710 cases.
  5. Kerala : 5,78,363 cases.

As per the latest report of ICMR, Total number of samples tested up to 25th November is 13,59,31,545 including 10,90,238 samples tested yesterday.
