Three people found printing fake cash notes utilizing a shading printer and scanner at their house were arrested in Hyderabad Monday. Considering a hint, the Rachakonda police arrested the trio and held onto Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) of Rs 10 lakh in denomination of Rs 500, implied for circulation in the market.
As per the press note, Karam Nagendraprasad (30), Bandari Goutham (29), and Tubbakula Naresh (25), the three accused charged, brought forth an arrangement to bring in income sans work by printing counterfeit cash notes. They purchased a shading printer and a scanner, and printed duplicates at Gowtham’s home. These copies were then cut into the size of authentic Rs 500 notes and stacked in packs of 100 notes each.
Through their sources, they reached operators with a consent to convey FICN at 1:5 proportion. These operators blend the fake money notes in groups of authentic notes and give it to their contacts for a commission, the test found. They preferred crowded places to circulate these fake notes mostly during nights.
On Monday night, Police caught them when they were headed to convey the fake notes to their agents. A case has been enlisted under area 420, 489 (A)(B)(C)(D)(E), and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code at P.S Ghatkesar. The three denounced, police found, had been arrested by Hyderabad Police before
