Corona Chhattisgarh: Over 2000 cases for the sixth day; tally soon to cross 50k

Raipur : Chhattisgarh’s coronavirus (Covid-19) tally on Monday mounted to 47,280 after 2017 cases and 15 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. This is the sixth day in a row that more than 2,000 cases have been registered in the state.

With this, the active cases have climbed to 24,708 whereas the death toll stands at 395. As many as 22,177 people have recovered from the infection so far.

The capital Raipur , continues to remain the Covid-19 hotspots in Chhattisgarh logged over 650 cases in the last 24 hours while the four other districts added more than 670 cases during the same time period.

Except Mungeli and gorella-pendra-marwahi district, all the others registered atleast 6 new cases on Monday late night bulletin.

According to the state health bulletin, over 6,81,978 samples have been tested for the disease so far out of which 12,437 tests were conducted on Monday.
