Bollywood: Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan who tested positive of coronavirus last month, beats the virus and gets discharged from the hospital on Saturday. The actor took to twitter to announce the same.
“A promise is a promise! This afternoon I tested COVID-19 NEGATIVE!!! I told you guys I’d beat this,” the 44-year-old actor wrote on his twitter handle this Saturday.
The superstar was admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital on July 11. On Twitter, the actor thanked “the doctor and nursing staff at the hospital.”
“Thank you all for your prayers for me and my family. My eternal gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanavati hospital for all that they have done. 🙏🏽 THANK YOU!,” his tweet read.
Abhishek also shared a photo of his care board from the hospital that suggested that he is on his way to get discharged.
Earlier on August 2, father of Abhishek bachchan, Legend Amitabh Bachchan had been discharged from the hospital after testing negative for the disease.
