Mumbai: On Thursday, The Supreme Court Of India dismissed a PIL requesting for CBI investigation into the late Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s case who died on 14 June 2020 in his apartment Suburban Bandra Mumbai.
Alka Priya, the lawyer who has filed the request for CBI investigation in SSR suicide case, Supreme Court asked that already two states police are investigating the case and Court will not interfere in their work “let the police do their job” they has nothing to do with if Sushant was good or bad person. He was died by suicide on 14 June and was found hanging in ceiling of his apartment in Mumbai says Chief Justice S Bodbe.
Many big personalities, several Bihar politicians, Public and his fans were demanding a CBI investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. Earlier Former Cabinet Minister, Subramanian Swamy with lawyer Iskaran Singh Bhandari also supported the demand for CBI investigation.
After Examined all, Yesterday Anil Deshmukh, Maharashtra Home Minister said that Mumbai Police is capable of handling the investigation already the Mumbai police has been investigating the case since July 14. The FIR case have been filed under various sections of IPC 306 abetment of suicide including many other section. The police have filed complaints against 40 people including his cook, Bollywood bigwigs personality, his girlfriend Rhea filmmaker of Yash Raj films etc. There is no need for the case to be transferred to CBI.
Sushant’s father KK Singh has lodged a FIR case against Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty at Rajiv Nagar police station in Patna under various sections of IPC abetment of suicide including many other section . Sushant’s family have undertrail Rhea of abetment to suicide and alleging that she cheated with him financially and mentally harassed Sushant which made him to commit suicide.
