Raipur: The Congress party in Chhattisgarh kickstarted its election campaign with the launch of the “Sankalp Shivir” program, which was attended by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. During the event, CM Baghel emphasized the core principles that define the Congress party.

CM Baghel highlighted the significance of ideology for any party stating that the principles upheld by Congress align with the values cherished by our nation. He mentioned that love, unity and brotherhood are integral to the Congress party’s vision for a society. In contrast, he criticized the BJP for promoting division and hostility.

CM Baghel openly accused the BJP of disregarding the turmoil in our country. He pointed out incidents like unrest in Manipur as evidence of how he believes the BJPs approach is deteriorating our nation’s fabric of harmony. He expressed concern about escalating violence not in Manipur but in other regions, like Haryana.

Continuing his critique CM Baghel argued that while BJP may aim to evoke emotions and passions, it fails to acknowledge the consequences. In a manner, he pointed out that while the BJP may be intensifying tensions and causing agitation, they appear unaware of the potentially destructive consequences such actions can have.

The Chief Minister’s impactful statement highlights the competition and contrasting beliefs between these two parties as they prepare for the upcoming elections.
