New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the redeveloped ITPO complex in Delhi on Wednesday, ahead of the G20 summit to be held in September. The complex, which has been renamed the Integrated Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC), is India’s largest MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination.
The IECC has been built at a cost of Rs 600 crore and is spread over an area of 123 acres. It has a capacity to host up to 7,000 delegates and features a number of state-of-the-art facilities, including a convention centre, exhibition halls, a multi-purpose hall, and a food court.
