Delhi Woman, With Accomplice, Arrested After Retaliating Against Relative Who Sexually Assaulted Her

New Delhi: In a incident a woman residing in northeast Delhi has been taken into custody for her alleged involvement, in the planning of a relatives murder. According to reports the victim had subjected her to instances of assault. The authorities have confirmed the arrest of both individuals suspected of participating in this crime.

The lifeless body of the male relative, displaying stab wounds in the neck and abdomen, was discovered on Sunday morning near Bela Farm, situated in northeast Delhi’s Shastri Park area. Deputy Police Commissioner Joy Tirkey disclosed that the murder weapon, a knife, has been recovered, and the police were alerted about the unidentified victim’s body at approximately 8:34 am on that fateful day.

Upon investigation, the police team ascertained that the deceased individual, approximately 30 years old and hailing from Kasganj in Uttar Pradesh, had seemingly been murdered elsewhere before being dumped at the Bela Farm location. In their pursuit of leads, law enforcement reviewed footage from nearly 20 CCTV cameras in the vicinity. The recordings revealed the presence of two individuals who appeared to be the prime suspects. Through further examination, the identities of the suspects were established, leading to their subsequent arrest in northeast Delhi for further questioning.

Deputy Commissioner Tirkey provided insight into the circumstances surrounding the case, stating that the woman, who had tragically lost her husband to illness in January, alleged that the relative had repeatedly raped her. Seeking both retribution and liberation from her tormentor, she hatched a plan and sought the assistance of her friend’s husband, who willingly agreed to aid her cause.

According to Tirkey, the woman enticed the relative to Bela Farm under the pretense of witnessing the overflowing Yamuna River. Once at the location, the two suspects allegedly overpowered the relative and carried out a fatal stabbing. Subsequently, they concealed the lifeless body behind a wall on the premises of Bela Farm before making their escape.

The authorities are currently conducting an investigation delving further into the case to gather evidence and establish a comprehensive understanding of the events that led to the tragic incident.
