New Delhi: The distinguished Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over a momentous conference held by the Union Council of Ministers at Pragati Maidans’ recently unveiled convention center. During this crucial assembly PM Modi sincerely urged his team to give utmost importance to accomplishing “last mile” delivery in relation to various welfare schemes propounded by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Such efforts should particularly target citizens situated in distant regions who require assistance.

The meeting, which lasted nearly five hours, proved to be productive as ministers engaged in fruitful discussions on diverse policy-related issues, as shared by PM Modi in a tweet.

He emphasized that merely launching and implementing schemes is insufficient; ministers must actively engage in last-mile delivery, from the district level to the state and national levels.

Furthermore, PM Modi emphasized the need to create awareness and communication about these programs, reaching out to party workers and citizens alike. He underscored the government’s commitment to long-term development, distinguishing it from short-term political agendas of other parties.

PM Modi acknowledged the growing awareness and expectations of voters, urging the government to live up to their demands. He emphasized the importance of adopting technology rapidly and focusing on capital investment in various departments to bolster India’s financial growth.

During the meeting, presentations were made on various topics, including PM Modi’s recent visits to the United States and Egypt, which were hailed as significant steps for Brand India and the partnerships forged during those visits. Presentations were also given by the Defense Secretary and the Department of Economic Affairs in the Finance Ministry.

The meeting saw the attendance of cabinet ministers, ministers of state, ministers with independent charge, and government officials, reflecting the comprehensive nature of the discussions and policy deliberations held during the session.
