Lucknow: The recent monsoon season has had an overwhelming impact on India’s most populous haven named Uttar Pradesh. However, according to The Lucknow meteorology department’s reporting, there are no signs predicting immediate calmness soon despite news reporting that rain could be limited in the coming two days. On Monday, only negligible regions were affected by light rains including Orai, Shahjahanpur, Najibabad, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut or Aligarh.

Orai having experienced a considerable amount of rain measured at 20.3 mm alongside Muzaffarnagar’s measured average of 11.6mm followed by Najibabad that got touched up with a lower measured average of .2mm relative to Muzaffarnagar while others received an inferior amount where Shahjahanpur accumulated an average measure of 5mm while Meerut came last on the list measuring 1 mm.

Cloud movements have been observed across the entire state, resulting in sporadic drizzles in certain locations. Although the absence of substantial rainfall has led to high levels of humidity, the daytime temperatures have remained below 40 degrees Celsius throughout Uttar Pradesh. Among the recorded temperatures, Basti recorded the highest at 39 degrees Celsius, while Lucknow reached a maximum temperature of 36.5 degrees Celsius.

Looking ahead, from June 29 onwards, heavy monsoon showers are expected to encompass the entire state, including Lucknow. These anticipated rainfall patterns will bring relief from the prevailing humidity and contribute to the overall progression of the monsoon season in Uttar Pradesh.
