Raipur: On the occasion of Goncha Maha parv, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that Bastar is progressing at a fast pace. The schools are running, ration shops provide necessities to people, and people now have access to basic amenities, he further added.

While answering the journalist in a virtual session on Emerging Bastar, he said that BJP’s job is to spoil things and humiliate the Congress. Regarding the mutual affairs of the Congress becoming public, CM Baghel said there is no factionalism in Congress.

“Chief minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel joined virtually in Bastar Goncha Mahapurav organized at Sirhasar Bhawan in Jagdalpur. On the occasion, the chief minister said that out of thousands of colors of Bastar, Goncha-Maha Pav is also one if its colors. Not only is this a great festival important from spiritual point of view, it is also very important to know and understand the cultural development of Bastar”, retweeted CM Baghel a tweeted from CM office.

Throwing light on the rich heritage of Bastar, CM Baghel revealed that Goncha Maha purva has a rich history connected to Bastar, with traditions and culture-civilizations connected to Lord Shri Jagannath. On the occasion, the chief minister said that the state is planning Shri Ram Van Gaman Tourist Circuit Project to promote tourist pilgrimage in places associated with Lord Ram’s exile from north to south.
