Sidhi: A lot of ruckus was created after the counting of Sarpanch elections took place in Bokaro village of Sidhi, Madhya Pradesh. The winning candidate Sita Singh along with her supporters took out a victory procession in the entire village when the opposing side attacked. About 100 people from the opposing side pelted stones along with the attack with sticks.
13 people have been seriously injured in the attack who were later taken to the hospital for treatment. All the injured have been hurried to Community Health Center Simaria while some have been referred to the district hospital.
After the sarpanch election was counted, the opponents reached the spot and created ruckus. They also attacked with axe. The video of this bloody struggle is going viral on social media. Madhya Pradesh police said that the fight between the two groups has now come to the fore.
