Durg: The Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress held its divisional conference in Durg on June 8, 2023. The conference was attended by party leaders and workers from across the state. The conference was inaugurated by Chhattisgarh Pradesh’s Congress President Bhupesh Baghel. In his address, Baghel said that the Congress is committed to providing good governance to the people of Chhattisgarh. Baghel also attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in the state. He said that the BJP government has failed to deliver on its promises. He said that the state is reeling under poverty, unemployment, and corruption.

The conference was also addressed by senior Congress leaders, including former Chief Minister Ajit Jogi, former Union Minister Kamal Nath, and former Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress President Nandkumar Patel.

The leaders called on the people of Chhattisgarh to vote for the Congress in the next assembly elections. They said that the Congress is the only party that can provide good governance to the state. The conference concluded with a call to the party workers to work unitedly to defeat the BJP in the next assembly elections.
