Jabalpur– A bunch of teenagers opened fire on a young man, jeopardizing his life, in a tragic occurrence in Jabalpur. The incident occurred late on Wednesday night when ten individuals arrived at the victim’s residence on five motorcycles. One of the criminals opened fire as the young man stepped off his bike. The victim swiftly evaded the attack, and luckily, the assailants missed their target, sparing the young man’s life.

Reports indicate that a dispute had arisen between Ravi Tiwari and Ayush Chaudhary, both residents of Hanumantal, during the Navratras festival. Ayush, along with his accomplices Sanjay Chaudhary, Rohit Prajapati, and Babul Kuchbandia, had previously assaulted Ravi and issued threats to his life. In response, Ravi filed a complaint with the Hanumantal police, leading to the subsequent arrest of Ayush and his associates. Seeking revenge, the accused resorted to the alarming act of firing at Ravi.

Rupesh Tiwari, Ravi’s brother, revealed that the attackers were involved in the illegal liquor trade. Throughout the night, they would recklessly ride their motorcycles at high speeds through residential areas. Thankfully, nearby CCTV cameras captured the entire firing incident, providing clear footage of the assailants. The sound of gunshots reverberated through the area, causing a stir among residents who emerged from their homes in alarm.

Promptly responding to the incident, the police, led by Hanumantal police station in-charge Umesh Gulani, swiftly arrived at the scene. Unfortunately, the assailants escaped before the authorities could apprehend them. However, based on Ravi Tiwari’s complaint, a case has been registered against all ten individuals involved, including the four named assailants. Efforts are underway to locate and arrest the suspects promptly.
