Mumbai: Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is definitely a must-watch for its funny punchlines and comic timings. The film released in theatres is competing Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse, marking it to be a major release after Indian Premier League (IPL).  Sources reveal that the Sara-Vicky debut jodi film has received a decent response as it earned Rs. 9.90 crores on Sunday, taking its opening weekend collection at the domestic box office to Rs. 22.59 crores.

Meanwhile, the animated superhero film Spiderman Across the Spider-Verse has shown steady traction at the Indian box office ranging between Rs. 13.5 crores to 14.45 crores net. The movie collected Rs. 4.2 crores on the opening day and earned around Rs. 3.25 crores on the first day.

With Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is the debut collaboration between Vicky and Sara, they have embarked on city tours, given interviews, and actively shared updates on social media. Vicky Kaushal also took to his social media to urge fans to watch the movie in the theatre. After Mimi and Luka Chuppi, director Laxman Utekar seems to have continued his entertainment streak with Zara Hatke Zara Bachke starring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan as a couple who want a house of their own to stay away from their family. They get a divorce o use the Indian Government’s flagship program Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY).

Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse has been directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, the story follows Miles Morales as he is recruited by his love interest Gwen Stacy. Interestingly, Indian cricketer Shubman Gill has lent his voice to the Indian Spider-Man character in Hindi and Punjabi versions of the film.
