RAIPUR: A string of policies to benefit all generations of the state has always kept CG ahead of all states. Bhupesh Baghel whose ‘concern for all’ has always been praised and fulfilling one such promise, Baghel today transferred the second installment of the unemployed youth allowance on Wednesday.

A sum of Rs 32,35,25,000 was transferres in the account of 1,05,395 eligible youths at a function in the capital city today. With this, the state government would transfer Rs 48.89 crore in the account of around 170,000 youths under the scheme.

Interacting with the beneficiaries present at the event, Baghel urged all to focus on their future and utilize thses funds for educating themselves. Responding to a question on the recruitment, Baghel clarified that notices would be issued as soon as his cabinet would recieve a clearance on the reservation quota.

The first instalment of Rs 16.54 crore was transferred in the account of 66,256 beneficiaries on April 30.

The promise to provide allowance to the unemployed youth was made by the Congress ahead of the 2018 Assembly polls.Addressing people on the occasion of the Republic Day on Thursday, after unfurling the national flag at the Lalbag Parade grounds in Jagdalpur, the headquarters of Bastar district, Baghel made a number of other announcements, including setting up of an aerocity near Raipur airport, housing assistance scheme for labourers and a scheme to promote women entrepreneurship, apparently eyeing the Assembly elections.
